Extension of Standard Gauge Railway (Naivasha-Malaba), Kenya

Phase 2B (Naivasha-Kisumu):

  • Construction of 262 km standard-gauge railway (SGR) running from Naivasha through Narok, Bomet and Nyamira to Kisumu
  • Construction of 8 km branch line to Kisumu port on Lake Victoria
  • Construction of two multi-purpose berths and a work boat berth at Kisumu port
