Lobito Corridor
Also known as Lobito Atlantic Railway
- This corridor includes a 1,340 km railway line traversing Angola from the Atlantic Ocean to the nation's borders with the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and Zambia
- Moreover, the railway line extends an additional 400 km into the DRC, reaching the mining town of Kolwezi
- In addition, a 780 km greenfield rail line will be built connecting the Lobito rail line in Luacano, southern Angola, to the existing Zambia Railways Line in Chingola, northern Zambia
- This line forms the Lobito Corridor, a key regional transport route linking central and southern Africa to international markets via Angola's Lobito Port on the Atlantic Ocean
