Morisananko Hydropower Dam, Guinea


 

  • Build the 100 MW Morisananko hydropower dam on the River Sankarani, located in the Mandiana prefecture in the Kankan administrative region
  • The dam site is 65 km from the 225 kV Guinea-Mali interconnection line, which is under construction
  • The project is planned to be developed on a Public Private Partnership (PPPs) basis
  • The technical, economic and financial studies and environmental and social impact studies are to be financed from a loan provided by the African Development Bank (AfDB)
