N'Gueli Dry Port, Chad

The N’Gueli Dry Port is an inland logistics terminal located approximately 15 km south of the city of Ndjamena, the capital of Chad. 

  • Construction of a three-level (three-storey) customs services building for bonded cargo clearance and customs administration.
  • Construction of a building for freight forwarding agencies (transitaires) and logistics service providers.
  • Construction of a two-storey building housing bank branches/agencies, to support financial services (letters of credit, cargo finance, etc.).
  • Construction of ancillary facilities: a mosque, a restaurant, and two public toilet blocks.
  • Paving of the platform (the cargo-stack yard) and development of roads and various utility networks (in the second phase).
  • General site servicing (utilities, drainage, lighting), infrastructural upgrade to support bonded warehousing, freight handling operations and interface with road transport.
