The Coastal Towns Inclusive Sanitation Project Phase 1 in Angola is a transformative initiative designed to improve access to climate-resilient and sustainable sanitation services in the coastal towns of Benguela, Baía Farta, Catumbela, and Lobito.
The project aims to construct sewage reticulations, develop wastewater and faecal sludge treatment plants, and enhance sanitation infrastructure for a population of 1.4 million. Its core objectives include strengthening the sanitation value chain, providing institutional capacity building, and improving services at schools, health facilities, and households.
