The Kamwesha–Kananga Road Project, Lot 1 involves the rehabilitation and upgrading of a 40 km section of National Road RN1 in Kasai-Central Province, Democratic Republic of Congo. This project is part of the wider EU-funded transport corridor initiative linking Kinshasa to Kananga, aimed at improving connectivity in central DRC, boosting trade, and supporting socio-economic development. The works will transform the road into a fully paved asphalt standard, enhancing travel efficiency and safety.
