The Kalemie–Nyunzu–Manono Road is a transformative 446 km highway reconstruction initiative that aims to modernize and cement connectivity within eastern DRC. Forming part of the RN5–RN33 corridor, the project links Kalemie with the mineral-rich territories of Nyunzu and Manono. Its launch represents a strategic investment in regional integration—strengthening trade between DRC and Tanzania, boosting access to key mining zones, and supporting broader socioeconomic development objectives.
