The SADC Sub-Regional Transport and Trade Facilitation initiatives involving Malawi and Mozambique are major infrastructure and trade facilitation programs aimed at improving regional connectivity, reducing trade costs, and boosting economic integration between the two countries and the broader Southern African region.

  • Upgrading critical transport corridors, notably the Nacala and Beira Corridors, which connect Malawi to Mozambican ports and onward to international markets.
