James Afolalu is a civil engineer, program director, and technical consultant with expertise in data governance, service architecture, and operational transformation across aviation, telecom, energy, and enterprise IT. At Schiphol Airport, he has been central to advancing the airport’s data modernization strategy, leading initiatives such as the ROAD (Road to Optimized Assets) program and Business Intelligence Migration. His work has included mapping and enriching asset data, integrating GIS, BIM, and Digital Twin models, and aligning documentation with operational needs.
