China First Highway Engineering Company (CFHEC)
CFHEC (CCCC First Highway Engineering Company), founded in 1963 and based in Beijing, is a major subsidiary of China Communications Construction Company (CCCC). Initially focused on strategic highways and international aid, CFHEC has grown into a top infrastructure firm, recognized for major highway and housing projects. It operates 36 wholly-owned subsidiaries and 5 overseas institutes, completing over 18,000 km of highways, 6,000 bridges, and 1,000 km of railways.
