The LAPSSET Corridor Development Authority (LCDA) was established by the Kenya government in 2013 to plan, coordinate and manage the implementation of the Lamu Port-South Sudan-Ethiopia Transport Corridor (LAPSSET) Project. The LAPSSET Corridor Project is an infrastructure project dedicated to interconnecting the East African countries of Kenya, Ethiopia and South Sudan. On completion the infrastructure corridor would link a major new port development on Kenya’s Indian Ocean coast to South Sudan and Ethiopia.
