The Ministry of Equipment and Road Maintenance (Ministère de l’Équipement et de l’Entretien Routier) is the government body responsible for developing, maintaining, and managing the national road and transport infrastructure network in the Republic of the Congo. It oversees the planning, design, and execution of road construction and rehabilitation projects, including major national and regional corridors. The ministry also ensures road safety standards, supports rural accessibility, and supervises public works through its technical arm, the General Directorate of Major Works (DGGT).
