The Ministry of Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development (MIHUD) is the Government of Zambia’s lead agency responsible for the formulation and implementation of policies related to public infrastructure, housing, and urban development. Its mandate covers the planning, construction, and maintenance of roads, public buildings, and other national infrastructure, as well as promoting affordable housing and sustainable urban growth. The ministry works to enhance connectivity, improve living standards, and support economic development through coordinated infrastructure investment and development planning across the country.
